Liverpool v Man City, who wins and why? Smile

I'm thinking neither, leaving the pressure still there for Man City to make results count elsewhere and chase...

The Official Premiership Thread - keefa - 12-04-2014

Tim Sherwood seems to have found the pre-match team talks tricky!

The Official Premiership Thread - JD95 - 12-04-2014

Lol Paddy Power twitter on Sherwood the other night -
Quote:Hope Tim Sherwood thinks f*ck it, and goes down in a blaze of glory tonight.
'Adebayor, you’re in goal, and my Gilet’s playing left mid.'

Draw I reckon, or if there's a winner it's Liverpool for me simply because it's at Anfield.

RE: The Official Premiership Thread - deanashtonsfoot - 13-04-2014

Well that was a good first half. More of the same please.

RE: The Official Premiership Thread - f1dave - 13-04-2014

I know it's all about the attacks in this game, but how good have some of the saves been at either end??

RE: The Official Premiership Thread - deanashtonsfoot - 13-04-2014

Liverpool have let that lead slip way too easily. Two fairly soft goals.

RE: The Official Premiership Thread - f1dave - 13-04-2014

Here comes trouble. Aguero for Dzeko. Liverpool balking at this challenge...

RE: The Official Premiership Thread - deanashtonsfoot - 13-04-2014

You don't see mistakes like that from Kompany very often!!

The Official Premiership Thread - JD95 - 13-04-2014

I can't see past Liverpool for the title now.

If they hang on, that is.

RE: The Official Premiership Thread - deanashtonsfoot - 13-04-2014

Great attempt at Soulfusioning JD Mrgreen

Was pretty nervy there, but great win for Liverpool. It really is game on for them now.

RE: The Official Premiership Thread - ken66 - 13-04-2014

I can stand the fact that Man Utd are not challenging this season, but not that Liverpool could win the league ffs.

The Official Premiership Thread - JD95 - 13-04-2014

Over to Chelsea now. If they do anything but win then Liverpool are firmly in the driving seat.

RE: The Official Premiership Thread - juvehero - 13-04-2014

Not sure if my nerves will last another 4 games. Huge win today.

Surely today, surely today, I can be allowed a few gentle teasing smilies!! Surely!!

RE: The Official Premiership Thread - Walks - 13-04-2014

They've probably been saying the same about United for the last 20 years or so Ken Wink

RE: The Official Premiership Thread - ken66 - 13-04-2014

Hopefully they'll be saying the same again next season Smile

And have to cope with playing in Europe and the league which kinda adds a massive strain on your squad. Fair play they have made the most of this season but repeating it in Europe will be a lot harder.

The Official Premiership Thread - keefa - 13-04-2014

Got to say I am now a huge admirer of Rodgers. He is tactically switched on as well as getting his teams playing good football. Sticking Coutinho in midfield today was a brave move, and one which I feel an awful lot of managers wouldn't have done.

Still hope they don't win the league though.
