The Random Generator selected Chelsea for kin_lin, in what turned out to be a tough week for us llamas. JD95 was the big winner, as he jumped to the top of the table, while there were shock home defeats for Man Utd and Tottenham Hotspur.

Shall I run the first 3 weeks through the RG so you can see if you want to join in?

So it chose Burnley for week 1 (3-0 win), Bournemouth for week 2 (2-1 win) and Norwich for week 3 (3-2 loss).

Up to you, I'm happy for you to join Smile

As we go into the first International break of the season, kin_lin leads the way with 3 wins and 1 draw so far. Although they haven't selected any teams to have lost yet, Walks and JD95 are down the table with their selections drawing a lot!

I'll post the gamweek 5 fixtures next weekend.

It's not going as well as last year... Hopefully it'll pick up as I stop picking the mediocre teams.

Just thinking about the ordering as I'm not sure it's right that people who have selected a losing team are above those who haven't.

I'm proposing to add a further "tie-breaker" of losses and will sort this ascending before any other, so now the sorting will be:

Number of losses (ascending)
No of wins (descending)
No of draws (descending)
Goal diff (descending)
Goals for (descending)

Does this seem fair to everyone?

EDIT:

This change means the table would look like this now:

Don't think you need that third one, as when the first and second are the same, the third will be as well, since you can't miss a week due to the random picker. I wouldn't mind that sorting though, as it's more in the spirit of what you did last season. I'm not too fussed either way though.

I like the look of that much better! Mrgreen

Alternatively, you could award points for a win and a draw, and sort it that way.

Ah yeah, good point. I'll add the losses sorting and get rid of the draws Thup

True, we could do 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and then goal diff and goals for. Might do that in the game we play in the second half of the season.
