So, following a comment from Andy, I thought I'd get this going.

Which football team do you support?

If you are not of these shores and genuinely have more than one team (such as the currently absent Sesquip supporting Perth Glory and Wolves), then let us know both.

I'll keep a summary in the original post - there are a few I know already obviously, so can add those as I go, but otherwise, let me know by posting in this thread. Thup

I think my team is well known, Arsenal. But really anyone that beats Spuds, Liverpool or ManUre.
Lower down the pyramid I follow Cheltenham Town's results (closest football club to birth).

Sheffield Wednesday are my team, however I tend to keep an eye on Swindon, my local team. I also keep an eye on Rangers in Scotland too.

Do you have a proper connection to Rangers, or are they just someone you sort of follow?

If the latter, I might leave them off if that's ok, otherwise the list could get unwieldy. I, for example, if we stretch things that far would then need to add Barcelona and Hibs.

2nd teams because of birthplace or where you currently live are worthy of inclusion though imo. Thup

Not really a connection as such, they've just always been one of my teams, the only team that actually win anything Mrgreen I do have a signed Rangers shirt if that counts?
But it's fine if you don't add them, wouldn't want to be seen as a glory supporter Mrgreen

Shrewsbury Town as a second for me. Used to go to almost all their home games and the odd away game with my mate who's a fanatic (and season ticket holder Nuts ) of the Shrews.

I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise to any of my fellow viewers who were upset by my earlier threat to invite our dear friend cagiva to the forum.

Mr603 has kindly pm'd me to explain to me the error of my ways. That and the 50% warning level he hit me with has ensured that no such threat shall ever be bandied about again Smile

See signature block below . . .

Arsenal - first team I ever FM'ed with back when I was a pimply faced teenaged nerd playing on a C-64.

Newcastle Jets - spent a bit of time working in Newcastle, NSW Australia, have fond memories of the place. Cannot bring myself to support Bling FC (Sydney United FC). Canberra United A-League team is still a pipe-dream and while the Canberra United W-League team are pretty to watch, the football is not.
