Call me selfish, but a yes vote will mean decades of Tory rule and hung parliaments for us.

Is that a popular opinion across Wales Keith? Are Wales watching the vote keenly to see if it's a possibility for them to explore? Or are most welsh people not really bothered?

I have no idea tbh. This is what I think and the few people I've talked about it with have the same general feeling, but that's about as far as it goes. I haven't even kept up with any local opinion polls. I'm well aware that Scotland leaving will mean a greater likelihood of Tory victory in future for the rest of us, but this isn't about us (right now) - this is about them. And regardless of who wins a UK election, almost any degree of uncertainty must be better than the available options here, now and for the foreseeable future...

The consequences of a "No" will give the scum in Westminster a newfound confidence that they're doing ok - they'll have had a bit of a scare, Scotland will be thrown a few bones, but otherwise it'll be business as usual - and you can be sure Scotland will get fucked out of spite for their uppityness any chance the pricks can get away with it. Anything which shakes that arrogance - preferably to the very core - can only be a good thing. For all of us.

A "No" vote will be predicated on fear. Better the devil you know - even though the devil regularly shits on you, abuses you and generally don't give a fuck about you until and unless you rock the boat enough. Ten days before the vote is when Westminster finally gave a shit. They don't care about Scotland. Just their tax money and oil. Scotland is better off without them. We'd all be, but they actually have a chance to do something about it. So don't be afraid. Do it.

I've been living in Scotland for over a year now and I have to say I get the feeling it will be yes. The yes campaign up here seems much more organised.

Although I could vote I'm choosing not to. Mainly because I don't feel I have enough insight. I've lived my life down south for the majority and I've no real concept of the struggles of being ruled by Westminster from afar.

I know a few people who will vote no with a fear of losing their jobs. I work for an English company, will they pull out of Scotland if they're independent?

One guy I work with has said "my heart says yes, my head says no" another guy says "I'm not voting for myself I'm voting for my children's future"

It could go either way.

Yes taking a real pounding now. Still half of the results to come in mind but I can only see it going one way now.

Tell you what it's fucking hilarious seeing all the little social media William Wallaces have meltdowns on Twitter. Marvellous.

Salmond said he'd step down in November if he lost didn't he?

An official no then.

I still think it will give Westminster a lot to think about. It's hardly been a landslide no. I think yes will happen in the future, and I'm sure the next referendum will happen sooner than the last.

Hopefully it'll see further regionalisation of powers though - and not just along national lines.

A more comfortable victory than was being predicted at the start of the week. The UK is stronger with Scotland in it but there will be lots of renewed calls for constitutional change within the UK.

The 'Yes' campaign made more inroads than many expected at the start of this process and I think it is symptomatic of the success UKIP has had this year.

The silent majority of Britain is fed up and dissatisfied with the Westminster elite. Hopefully the leaders of the traditional national parties will finally wake up to the fact that they are meant to represent an entire nation not just Westminster and the privileged few.

'We' may well be fed up with Westminster, but they are the people 'we' elected to run the country. The problem is too many people are afraid to vote against the big 2, as ultimately was seen with the Scottish referendum. They did give them a bit of a scare though.

With regards to the constitutional change, I'm intrigued by the idea of a Federal Britain, but will need to look into it a lot more before I commit either way.
