Talking to the media after Vác's heavy 0-4 defeat at the hands of Ferencvaros, Vác manager told the media that his side were much better than Ferencvaros, and that as far as he could see, there was no way Ferencvaros would avoid real trouble if they continued to play in such a fashion.

That win put us ahead of Vác in the table, so I think he's having a real go with the mind games! Mrgreen

Get smashed at home 7-0 by a very average side and the fans don't bat an eyelid. Draw 1-1 away at a team expected to get promotion and the fans are concerned at the result.

WTF?

Obviously your home venue is wet (ie vodka flowed, no one remembers the scoreline but a good time was had by all) and away venue is dry (ie all the fans actual watched how your team played) Wink

Currently experiencing the unlikely scenario of sitting in the relegation zone while possessing both a positive goal difference AND the division's best defensive record.

So when you win, you win big, but when you lose, you lose narrowly? 5-0, 0-1, 0-1, 0-1, 0-1, 5-0, 0-1, 0-1 and so on Mrgreen

Needing 6 home grown players in the match squad. But, a player who is 18, and has only just entered his 2nd season doesn't qualify because they need to have been trained in Belgium for 3 years?! How does that encourage playing Belgian kids?

Several players. Some from my youth, some bought in.

Pretty much. Mostly draws, two big wins and two single goal defeats.

Climbed the table now anyway.

Have just won promotion to League One with AFC Wimbledon, and I'm made odds-on favourite to be the coach of a Portuguese Premier League side... WTF?

I've been getting silly links like that throughout my game. At one point I was linked to the England job! Not favourite mind, but I was apparantly "in the running" once the usual "Football Manager Applications" had been thrown out

Southampton (prem) just gave me an OFFER, not any 'we'd be interested' or anything like that for them. I've turned it down, and ignored Go Ahead Eagles who also want me.

Annoying, but at least I can ignore all this stuff for the sake of realism until the time is right. I wouldnt even take a Champo job at the moment, having only just been promoted to League One... don't think it would be realistic enough.

Well I guess you've started as Sunday League, Aaron? If Dave has started as Automatic rep, he could be regarded as an ex-pro or something and have a better starting rep in game.

The tying it to reputation seems a bit unrealistic, if it was a coach who'd come out of nowhere with no reputation, surely having a couple of promotions under your belt would lead to a couple links or offers from bigger clubs on the same level as the one you're currently coaching; as it is, there's absolutely nothing.
