I've just decided to watch a few World Cup games in an attempt to grow my reputation, and after England's WC match against S Korea the press decide that I am 'a fervent patriot who likes to see his team play whenever his busy schedule allows'. Mrgreen
100 years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like; but the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child.

If you're playing a small budget team on 2011 I'm impressed that you signed a coach. Celebrate If not, I'm just confused, which is my normal state. Hmm

Just went 7 games without a win, 6 losses no less.... The board are pleased with my management of the team..... Can't ask for fairer than that.

This could really go in either thread: Just had my Ass Man tell me that one of my recent signings has been like a man possessed on the training ground and it's time to reward that with some first team action as he's surely one of the finest midfielders in the squad.

Except he's a central defender. Can't even begin to play anywhere else.

(I know this is just typical silly SI bug that slips through the gaps, I love the idea of my Ass Man going on this spiel about the player and my smile drooping just a bit when he starts talking about his position and I make a mental note to check the top drawer of his desk before I go home that day.)

Ooh, and another one, I've had a great run recently where I'll have a disagreement with a player (usually after what they feel to be an unfair fine or warning) and they'll immediately get injured for a bit, which will then lead to the "Player X has resolved their issue with you as they realize their behavior won't get them into the first team."

It's plausible. You could be smashing their legs in with a baseball bat for all we know. Wink

Winning the Young Player of the month.

And 2nd place.

And 3rd!

And manager of the month!

A goal down by 19', a man down by 36'. A lucky goal on the stroke of half time

Second half, BloodyCroat runs riot and bags 4 goals on the counter Smug

Edit: that makes it 7 goals in his last 2 games

Check the pep talk feedback and see "our current players would be willing to die for each other" hmm, I think they may be starting to come together. Celebrate

go into the playoff final 2nd leg away 1-0 down. The last 9 games i have scored 5 and let in 6 and we can't score for toffee. or so it seemed... 3-0 victory ensures unexpected promotion Celebrate
