Back when Stickcricket got really big in school (circa 2003-4) I got myself quite good at it (beat it most of the time). Now I get to frustrated to persevere and get better again

Didn't realise it had been around that long! :O

Must have been quite advanced for an online game back then.

Certainly is. Mrgreen

Just beat my best against Bermuda! 140 in 15.4 overs.

The scorecard sums up my problem though. Scores for my batsmen were as follows:

Bradman - 40
Hobbs - 45
Richards - 42
Waugh - 0
Sobers - 0
Healy - 0
Dev - 6
Warne - 0
Embury - 0
Hadley - 3
Lillee - 4

Was playing a couple of months ago but i simply can't get past Zimbabwe. Just gave em another try and was all out for 261 off 16 overs. As for the spinners, give the practice mode a try. It might not make you score many runs off em but you will get out less.

IIRC, it had been around for a few years before that even. And the graphics weren't quite as good. And there was none of this batsmen changing facing. Everybody was a rightie and we liked it!

I remember when I finally managed to post 300+ in 10 overs (none of this 20 over business back then). God that was a struggle.

Yeah, the days of righties only were much better!

I hate playing as a lefty!

I go through little spells of smashing sixes as a lefty, and then can't play a shot right at all! Always a relief to go back to being a proper player when the lefties are out Wink

Btw, anyone here played Just Cause 2?

Been recommended to get it, but never heard of it! Mrgreen

This may be a bit late but I just noticed. CiV 4 was/is a great game. When Civ5 came out there was a lot of expectation and as a consequence, disappointment. I was the same until I realised that it is better to look at it as a new game as opposed to a newer Civ4. I wasn't sure about civ5 at first but now I love it.

Completed Fable III (the story bit) today and really enjoyed it, still got a lot of little odds and sods to do. I think I've enjoyed it so much I might play it through again only this time being a complete b@st@rd. Thup

Just re-started on this free online F1 management-style game. Ridiculously addictive and lots and lots of stats to play with/keep track of. In a way it reminds me a bit of FM (even has the Hexagon for when you want to buy a driver) and I am sure that most of the stats-loving number crunchers over here would like it as well.

Still addicted to Stick Cricket.

Finally managed to Dominate Bermuda at the ten millionth attempt, then swept aside Netherlands in 3 goes.

Took a bit longer but I've now also got past Canada, but then on my first go against Scotland I was bowled out for 43 when chasing 291. Mrgreen
